No, it's nowhere as beautiful as a Clovis point. Technically, it may be what they call a burin. I think it would have been good for skinning a large animal carcass. It looks like this, except that the material is different...

Since 1997, the Bismarck Tribune has published annual magazines dedicated to various aspects of the Lewis and Clark expedition in and through North Dakota. Individually, each publication makes for interesting online reading. As a whole, the collection of publications are an excellent digital reference library.
