Americans weigh down cruise ship

07dec04

DOZENS of seats on the world's most luxurious cruise liner have collapsed under the weight of obese American passengers.

The chairs -- on the Queen Mary 2 -- are being replaced or repaired.
The seating is mainly in the bar and restaurant areas.

Alstom Chantiers, the French company that provided the liner with all its fixtures and fittings, claimed many of the chairs had buckled under the weight of larger passengers.

"There are some things that need to be changed or replaced," said a spokesman. "For instance, there are some problems with the chairs because some of our passengers are heavier than we imagined.

"It's not an English problem, it's probably more American."

An unnamed former member of the ship's crew said: "We do have many large passengers on the QM2. Most of the passengers are American.

"And we do have 10 restaurants on the ship, so if they are big when they get on, they tend to be bigger when they get off."

Earlier this week I heard on the news about Arnold using $6,000 per month from his campaign fund to pay for a place to live in Sacramento, right across from the State Capitol building.
First of all, he came up sporting a bedouin tent so he could hold court there instead of in the Capitol building where smoking isn't permitted. In his tent office, he puffs on Cohibas, that is, when he's in (and not using his Lear Jet to fly down to see Maria and the kids).

At any rate, where Arnold stays when in Sacramento is at the Hyatt Hotel, right across the street from his office tent and the Capitol. And who owns the Hyatt Hotel building? Which is otherwise branded with Hyatt? One GEOFFREY YEH through his HCV Sacamento (Napa project is HCV Napa Associates and umbrella for this laundryman is HCV Pacific Partners with H for Hsin C for Chong V for Ventures).

So, Arnold is being put up in a Geoffrey Yeh dig -- with a name, Hyatt, which as a hotel chain is substantially owned not by the Pritzker family, but by Saudis too!

Meanwhile, G.W. Bush's brother-in-law, Bobby Petri Koch (Bonanno), commutes from Washington, D.C. while Doro and the kids stay behind, to S.F. where he serves as President of The Wine Institute. In S.F. Bobby stays at the Four Seasons Hotel in S.F. - owned by Saudi Prince Alwaleed as to 27% of all common stock (a Toronto, Canada-based corporation).

It doesn't get much better, until you realize that on the a.m. of September 11, 2001, then CIA director George Tenet was breakfasting at his reserved table he's had for years at the St. Regis on DuPont Circle, across from the White House. The St. Regis building was owned by Mohammed Hadid and SAAR Foundation, then by Sheikh Ibrahim who stuffed this former Ritz Carlton building into Starwood Hotels & Resorts, which is controlled by King Fahd's brother-in-law, Sheikh Ibrahim. The Sheikh has shells in the Cayman Islands, one of which is "Moonbeam Enterprises Ltd.."

Little wonder why Arnold spends so much time with Shareef Malnik, huh?
