I read somewhere that many Congressmen in the south don't even have passports. Other than their own little towns and Washington DC, they probably have seen nothing else in the world. And they are the ones who decide what the foreign policy of this country is going to be! :-((

(Btw, your reading of the dollar weakening and the foreigners getting reluctant to finance the growing US debt, is bearing out).

And there are folks in Louisiana I know who do not want to go through the hassle of getting a passport which they think they would need if they visit California!!!
