you could say that about the apartment business here : vacancies are up, tenants want deals, costs are up, quality of tenants is going down, perhaps the number of people per suite is rising...who'd want to get into this game when you can click on the 'puter or get on the phone and buy an income trust that "pays" several percent...(for now)

The grains are getting clobbered today, as are most commodities. Cotton and currencies are the only thing in positive territory on my screens. We are getting to buying prices on several of these falling angels.
