Re: Ah yes, the "christo-fascists" hard at work to bring us back to the dark ages...

The Romans created a wonderful civilization that lasted for a few centuries. Then the Christians came and the first thing they did was to burn all the books. Then they destroyed all the pagan images and tore down the architecture. Then they hounded all the tradesmen and craftworkers and in the end they lost the ability to make concrete, a basic skill not regained until the Age of the Enlightenment. Many who understand understand that the Dark Ages were the result of the Christians overrunning Rome, and not the barbarians making brief incursions.

Yes, we should fear the Christians. First they censor the books, substituting total claptrap and nonsense about "intelligent design" for the entirely more plausible theory of evolution. Then they burn Fallajah and destroy the mosques of that city. Then they attack the universities at home. Then they play with the idea of using nuclear weapons to clear massive swaths of unwanted humanity in the vicinity of coveted natural resources.

And this is the way the world ends? Greed, superstition and big swinging dicks. What a mess.
