Holmgren and Dennis Erickson have almost the exact same winning percentage in coaching Seattle teams. And....Homgren's winning percentage is almost the same with other teams that didn't have Favre as a starter. Great players make coaches gen iuses.

For some reason I think Holmgren is a better coach than he has shown, but maybe he isn't. The devil is in the details, and the details are bad with the Seahawks...special teams have stunk his whole tenure here. Receivers can't catch, and they neve r seem to get better or replaced. And on D, he keeps sticking with the same injury prone guys...saying if only they could stay healthy..

I like him personally, but my guess is that ownership will go another direction. The Hawks have yet to beat a team wi th a winning record this year, 3 of 4 that they end the season with, have winning records. Time for some clutch wins..
