No we don't Mesphisto,

But most of our storms come across central to northern California before they hit us. So in the winter, if we hear it is raining in that area we know we will have snow. Like last night, we awoke to about 6-8" of heavy and wet snow. But by this afternoon, it was beautiful and all the roads were clear.

So this afternoon, I worked on putting up some outdoor Xmas lights. I figure I have enough "environmental credits" built up during the year by recycling everything, not taking too many unnecessary trips and just watching things, etc. to spend a few.. I hope that is okay.. :)

I don't know.. I know it is a waste, but maybe, just maybe some people will see the lights and get some Xmas spirit and a "feeling of peace".. But maybe I am just rationalizing the work I do.. For it is work, that lasts for only a few weeks.. And then I have to put them away. (At least, I think about these things, I'm sure some others do too but I wish all would do)..

Or I could just lay around and leave everything dark and not waste "my energy" or the "world's energy". I don't know what's right. I never do, but one thing I do know;

I have a hecka of time of just laying around..
