Josh What was in the article highlights one of the problems at hand. One of the reasons that Saudi has succeeded where Iran failed with the Shah is that they spread the wealth around much more and have had a large middle class that supports them. As the ruling class expands in numbers and takes an increasing share of the pie, it alienates this supportive middle class. Combining this with the population growth of the country as a whole equals one of the problems that the leadership must solve. Regards Neil
