Yes, I would definitely say the sleep deprivation is dulling their wit a bit, but even with 10 hours of sleep every single day, what passes for "comedy" today can not hold a candle to the comedy of the 50s, 60s, and 70s IMHO. The Blues Brothers movie was on AMC recently, and that is always fun to watch if I have not seen it for awhile... Carrie Fisher was a hot babe with that machine gun <g>, and I heard Dan Akroyd helped save her life on the set when she was choking on some food. They almost got married back then. When I was working with the rock bands back in the 70s and 80s, the wife of the J. Geils band's manager paid me a compliment by saying I looked like Dan Ackroyd at their house one night... Funny, I never saw myself that way! LOL
