Actually I picked those questions because they go to the root of why so many people around the world do not see America as a benign force. US has a very bad track record on all of them. As to the Africa budget, I read a fairly detailed analysis of the money trail and believe me it was not going towards improving the African lives. Rather it was used either to keep friendly dictators in power or to funnel the money back via US corporations. I don't have the report handy but it was from a reputable source.
