Not to take anything away from Bob, but ... erasing site logs isn't a "routine maintenence" thing for anybody who's ever been in the web biz. If you're erasing logs like that, you're doing it for cover and a responsible site admin wouldn't comply with that request, like a responsible accountant wouldn't erase ledger entries.

Oh geez. I feel really bad for Bob because I know he had the best of intentions when he took on the position as site admin. Whereas I can find plenty of unfortunate things to say about Tony (based on stories from people I respect who felt his overriding loyalty was to money), I always had lots of respect for Bob. I sincerely hope Bob has gotten his life and finances back together.
