My refusal was what sparked the storm of unprovoked attacks from AP and his munchkins. If you find the date of his first big tirades against me, it would come shortly after that offer (the E-mail it came in is parked on a backup disk I have somewhere). The playground BS never caused me to lose a millisecond of sleep, but it confirmed my suspicions about his character and conduct. The position at his site would have been paid, participating as a moderator or commentator of some sort, but the details were never spelled out since I declined to participate in any way. Another unintentional irony is that making that choice brought me a very lucrative business opportunity later that would not have happened otherwise. Life is full of funny breaks, good and bad.
