Unfortunately, I am not able to address the thermodynamics and therefore verify the correctness of the equations, myself. But it does appear, as result of Hoffman having done it himself, and with the help of Jerry Russell, that the final result should be considered reasonably correct. Moreover, the work is no secret -- it's widely mentioned on the internet and Hoffman gives many lectures, so if there are serious rebuttals we should be able to find them. wtc7.net
