Frum is an embarrassment to Canadian Conservatives in my opinion.

As for Perle, its specious for the others to suggest he has only "some" influence; he and his buddies are the primary influencers of American Foreign Policy and military doctrine right now.

What the rank and file in the Republican Party may think now or in the future is irrelevant - they don't have any control over the gang in charge.

Bill demures from the rubric "neoconservative", actually. He was always conservative.

Again, you are not getting the point. When one is desperate to find the state sponsors and cut them off, one is even more willing to go in on the basis of inconclusive intelligence. The impetus is not the conclusive nature of the evidence, but the unwillingness to take chances.
