Tibet? cool. And... I think your father might take the cake. Certainly.... a character. :) I have never read Flannery O'Conner but got into a great site about her the other day. She was the sober one who wrote about the South, next to a drunk Faulkner. Really interesting stuff. Being Catholic in the Protestant South was part of her. I'd like to read her, from what I've read, but think it might be too depressing. :)

Your dad does sound like quite a character. But things can bring a bemused and amused smile from afar that might be different up close. I hope all is good? A shock for me lately is that, at 46, the "older" women I was interested in when a young thing are now about 60 and over. lol. But they'll never be too fat or old. :)

Oh, a moment of wonderful fun was driving the nieces and their friend back to GA after Thanksgiving. Niece 1 drove there with me riding shotgun. She let me control the radio. I was very pleased. Now that is how to be sweet to the crazy aunt. I did get a lot of instruction. She doesn't like 80's or too much rap. Niece 2 doesn't like much country (which 1 does). Friend did not offer an opinion. Though when I flashed by a 60's station a couple of times she softly said "good song". It was fun for a crazy ol' aunt unused to girls. :)

And, no, I can't top that. :)
