Very smart and also right on the button as far as the dollar was concerned. Looks like it was part of a major effort to turn the market and they could even be right. Remember, there has also been big buying of US Treasuries over the past few days and this has steadied the dollar.

So, I don't see a conspiracy or even a crime -- just good timing.
