It's kind of a shock to some people, but the U.S. is one of the most fanatically religious nations on earth. We look at arabs as religious fanatics, but the U.S. is equally as religious. It's hard to look inward, but polls like these are very revealing of just how religious the U.S. really is. It is also one of the reasons the U.S. is so damn conservative. Look at Canada, they just legalized gay marriage nationwide, while the U.S. is banning it piecemeal.
