Perhaps he'd prefer to spend his time spouting conspiracy theories and shouting people down if they don't agree:

Ray Duray, who was wearing a “No War” button, wanted to inform others of his passionate anti-war views, complete with conspiracy theories involving the Bush Administration.
...
Dollar quickly admonished Duray for violating some of the rules: “no yelling or raising your voice;” “dialogue is not a series of monologues,”

BTW, he also likes to write friendly, persuasive letters to the editor:

Messin with 9/11
I'm writing regarding stephen Humphrey's article on 9/11, Whodunnit? They know (NOW, June 10-16). Whoever this impudent, surly and ultimately clueless Humphrey happens to be, his smarmy superior airs are malodorous. His dismissiveness of what transpired at the 9/11 Truth Alliance meeting in Toronto only indicates that his intellect is slightly below Jennifer Lopez's belly button.

How could you let such a trashy writer cover the most important story of the 21st century? How could you have allowed such a preposterous, ill-researched, anti-intellectual piece of drivel to destroy your credibility?
