Worth a mention that silver mining shares have held up remarkably well in view of the $hitcanning that happenned to the POS today:

I bought a decent amount of paas for a trade near the open today. average price was 15.41. I should have sold it when it had its first run, but of course didn't. when I saw PoS getting killed at 1:00 p.mp, there was an Island bidding $15.55 showing 1000 shares. I kept hitting and hitting and hitting the guy, and he kept refreshing, saying give me more, give me more. <g> It may mean nothing, but then again there aren't that many people that keep refreshing their bid when the underlying commodity is getting the shit kicked out of it. I am not surprised to see the stock rebounding today.
