(maybe they are waiting for steel to be cheaper? a macabre example of "penny wise, _pound_ foolish?) Looking at this single discussion in the context of the bigger picture, we can recognize the "true" believers: nothing the administration does is ever wrong. Even an Iraq war supporter should be able to find fault with what is happening there, with the planning, with the continued screw ups on a scale that go beyond SNAFU, with the outcomes to date. The inability to accept reality and discuss it without behaving like a party flack clearly sets apart certain folks in this "discussion". Much as I would like to engage some in fruitful discussion, if they can't deal with the simple concepts in an honest manner, then what hope is there of substantive and meaningful conversation on the tough subjects? Zero.
