Ish,
If your going to sell to a developer and you have the spare change, take it through your local planning commission yourself. Go to a land/subdivison planning company, plan the subdivision, then market the plan yourself.

Oh Ish, I hate to see you do that. I even HATE to think of such a wonderful old barn being burned. Do you not have any descendants? Sure wish I lived closer, I would love to inspect it and see if I could come up with any ideas. As to selling the property, unless you have a need for the money, I wouldnt do it. Today, LAND is like money in the bank and it appreciates pretty damn good. I have a small piece I paid 13,500 for in 1983 and was just informed its worth between $275-325,000 now. Sure beats CD rates. haha. jdn
