And as a reward got Pit Bull Ken Starr, with unlimited resources, to investigate anything and everything... to ZERO effect.

Bush needs a Ken Starr, 24/7, 365, unlimited budget, Grand Juries. But the Reps are right, the Dems are wimps. That would offend their Democratic sensibilities.

Almost 6 million new jobs were created in the first two years of his Administration

So Bush 41 did a good job. Thanks for pointing out what his predecessor did right. Nobody has figured out yet to pass any law that has positive economic impact in under two years. Now, what about Clinton?

Unemployment was at 7% when he took office

Thanks to two hikes in the minimum wage that the Democrat controlled Congress forced through. You are really hitting hard against Democrats today.

He cut taxes on 15 million low-income families and raised it on 1.2 percent of the wealthiest taxpayers.

He made 15 million families think that Federal money was free. This is supposed to be a good thing? It is another negative. You are on a roll.

He cut taxes on 15 million low-income families and raised it on 1.2 percent of the wealthiest taxpayers.

He raised taxes and spending. Typical tax and spend liberal. When you strike, you are a force.

...ended the Balkan conflict without the loss of a single American in combat. America was well respected abroad

He bombed the Balkans and used up almost the entire arsenal of cruise missiles without building any to replace them. (Does that relate to his reduced defense spending that you were crowing about earlier?) He bombed the Chinese Embassy. He only killed Chinese, but no American Ground troops. He caused an international crisis of near epic proportions because of his refusal to commit ground troops. He is such a heroic figure. Oh, and Clinton forgot to get the supposedly (according to current Democrats) requisite UN approval for the mission.

He put 100,000 cops on the street. He passed a tough crime bill, an assault gun ban (the one bush let expire just recently). His years saw drastic reductions in crime rates...a danger to society.

He signed Republican bills that his pollsters said would hurt him to veto.

All of this and more, with sound environmental policy...what a dirty creep.

None of the environmental policy was important for the first 95 months of his Presidency, it only became important in the last month. What a environmental friend.

Oh, don't forget, Clinton did these things with 6 years of hostile congress with a GOP majority.

Republican Presidents Bush 41, Reagan, Ford, Nixon, Eisenhower, etc all had Democrat Congresses for their entire terms. Reagan exposed the Democrat double dealing enough to get a Republican Senate, but the House was still in Democrat hands. So what is your point? Oh yes, that Republicans got a say in Clinton's agenda. The economically sound policies were passed by Republican controlled Congresses, and Clinton benefited from helping elect Republicans before he could completely destroy the economy.

All that and legalizing perjury. What a record. Clinton's place in history is "Sex between the Bushes."

Do the same with Bush

President Bush got important economic stimulus passed to recover the economy from Clinton's recession. He also made intelligent responses to terrorist attacks. He got rid of the Gorelick proclamation that no intelligence could be shared ever. President Bush pushed through economic stimulus that revived the economy after the second attack on the World Trade Center. We are more RESPECTED in the world than we ever were during Clinton's office. Clinton was an appeaser, who may have appeared to be popular in the world, but he was door mat that was not worthy of respect.

President Bush left in place the most defensible environmental regulations added by Clinton as the door hit him in the but. An example of an environmental regulation Clinton rammed through in his last moments was the arsenic standard in drinking water. The new standard is 10 ppb. That was an improvement from 50 ppb which had been the standard for his entire eight years. All that despite the lack of scientific evidence that it would make a difference. President Bush suspended the implementation to give municipalities time to implement the new standard (AND EXPENSIVE UNFUNDED FEDERAL MANDATE). Ignorant pawns repeated the mantra that Bush was bad for the environment.

President Bush worked with Democrats including the conservative Senator from Taxachussets to get meaningful Education reforms passed. For the first time, there are comparable standards within states, and a mechanism for dealing with the worst failing schools. He increased federal spending to education by over 40%. Instead of extending symbolism to minorities, he found some of the best qualified minorities and gave them a seat at the table and a leadership voice in government.

All of that and no groping of volunteers or interns. No violent marital discord embarrassing the Secret Service. President Bush increased military spending and restocked the million dollar cruise missiles Clinton used every time a personal failure came to light. He did not ask his Cabinet Secretaries to disavow their ethics in a group public press conference, and did not ask his parties Senators to demonstrate their disassociation from ethical standards.

President Bush is a great President who followed the man most likely to be called a miserable failure by non-partisan people.
