Ten, re: SS is already headed towards bankruptcy if it continues on its course. The only question is when. So as a thinking person you would add ~1.5 Trillion in debt to "save" the system??? Of course not. The solutions to traditional SS are easy, and not very expensive. Putting on ~$1.5 Trillion in debt is a death sentence. re: As for those who think Bush wants to speed up the demise of SS, these are the very people who make the search for a solution tough. Man, you really need to learn to read between the lines of these guys. To them "SS is evil, it's FDR, it's social welfare. People, old people, be damned. We're standing for principle here!"
