Changing the subject,

I heard one of these retired ex-military people on CNBC this afternoon, I think, talking about the military's stop loss program. The back door draft.. And EVEN he said that a potential recruit should have a lawyer read the fine print of any "contract" before they sign it..

So in other words, if a young recruit can not trust what the military recruiters tell him/her.. Then how the hell are WE, outsiders from the military, going to trust anything the military says in the way of what is happening at Abu Gahrib <s>, the killing of civilians in Iraq or other abuses. When THEY lie to their OWN.. If someone is likely to come closest to the truth, it will be to their own. And if they can't come close to that, what the hell does a person on the outside expect, except LIES.

Again, just connecting the dots of human nature which the wingnut-mongers can't or will not do. They do not seem to be able to look below the surface or beyond what they want to see..

Or are they are unwilling or afraid to go through self-examination. Another topic I have in mind, and which I will touch on briefly by saying that many people are afraid to examine their own previous motives and actions because of what they may find.. And it might not be nice and so are unwilling to admit to their warts. :(

Bravo to those that have and admitted their past mistakes.
For like my dear departed father used to say..

"Only a God damn fool doesn't change his mind".. He wasn't sexist, that's just the way he talked.. :)
