>>Can you really say the new version is improved? "Once at night" or "once at night low flush," does it make a material difference? Any users able to comment? Have they said how much lower, as in slight blushing versus Rudolph? :-)

Flushing can be pretty severe in some people and is scary for them. One friend of mine, a nurse, had severe flushing. I have told her how I control the flushing though I am not sure if it has worked for her. I use aspirin and gBenydril. For me that controls the flushing. I think flushing is a BIG issue. Frankly, the doctors are so time-constrained that they don't want to hand-hold until the patient learns how to manage.tolerate flushing.

<Can you really say the new version is improved?>

Absolutely, especially for individuals just starting on it. I've been taking if for years and have no problem with flushing at all. At first I did.
The "only" problem with the current version of Niaspan, is many people stop taking it after a few days, due to their refusal to allow their bodies to aclimate to the increased level of Niacin in their system. When the flushing is reduced or eliminated in first time users, Niaspan (Low-flush) will quite literally explode as doctors who currently avoid prescribing it due to patient complaints about flushing, no longer have to hear the complaints.
Niaspan is a super drug, all it needs for the medical community to accept is, is a reduction in flushing, and low flush delivers that.

JMHO of course,
Mike
