And now you are posting articles from non-leftist sources saying that Republicans are not inflexible mean spirited lockstep lazy thinkers. Just when I began to doubt you, you amaze me. Thanks for that article.

As we have discussed many times, Republicans are not a monolithic block until you present them with a choice like Kerry. Gephardt or Lieberman might have beaten President Bush. Of the two, my impression is that Joe might have the better fiscal record, but then he must be a New England liberal. <g>

It is also refreshing to see Republicans willing to take President Bush to task on fiscal issues. Pork, earmarks, and general expenditures are out of control.
