Taikun, I have no issue with CEF. It is quite a reasonable product but it is different to GLD apart from the silver. But even CEF has issues. On several occasions they have increased their holdings of physical and even though they were committed they were denied delivery for excessively long periods of time (especially of silver). In fact how can you say that CEF had the actual metal they claimed was part of their NAV when for quite long periods it couldn't be delivered and part of the metal CEF held was actually just a paper receipt. What would have happened if the seller went bankrupt and never delivered the silver? I await your reply....
