Clapperclaus,

<P.P.S. After writing my story the other day I went to a
hobby store and bought a real Lionel train set for the boys
and they set it up around the tree. They love it!>

Beautiful - we'll hang this on on the tree too!!

trainman-

Upon hearing this, my father searched through the attic and
FOUND our old set and gave it to us. The old locomotive
still works! Still shoots tiny sparks and everything as it
motors around the track.

i bet that's one of the best
christmas gifts you'll ever
receive <s>

Hey, Claps, tell me about the new Lionel stuff. How does it compare to what we had/ have now?
I say have because most of the family stuff is still at Mom's, and I have a few things here, because Fuzzerella decided she wanted to play with the train, and the grandfather's heart melted and gave her the extra transformer and a few cars. She played with it a few times, and it has been sitting on a shelf in her old room for about l0 years. I still think maybe I'll try to abscond with the whole deal after Mom dies, and do something with it.
