When I bought my lifetime membership 5 years ago the search function worked, and I could read posts by poster instead of by thread. When a thread gets polluted by unwanted posts from posters ignoring the nature of the thread, reading posts from individual posters becomes useful. It is certainly part of the package of services I bought 5 years ago, and I want it back for no cost,...I paid for it, give it back. Taking away basic services we paid for many years ago digs a hole in the ground for SI,..at least for posters like me.
