The 1997, 1998, and 1999 indexes are being rebuilt, which will take a while. 1997 might not work at all right now, but will this weekend. 1998 and 1999 are incomplete but getting a day more complete every minute or so. At the time you wrote your message, current-year search (whether Advanced or from the drop-down above) was also broken, and needed repopulating, but is complete now. There may be occasional timeouts in searches because the database server is so busy rebuilding the other indexes, but they should be relatively infrequent, and if they happen, a second attempt will usually get results because a lot of the desired data ended up in the cache.
