For retiree Graham Haddock, Bush will need patience to accomplish his goals in Iraq.

"I feel like it's going to take a long time," said Haddock, a retiree who lives in rural Indiana near the Kentucky state line. "I really don't know if it's worth the money they're spending. If they can make peace over there, get that oil on the world market, it might help. But it may take five or six years."

Here's what we're up against John...this guy is concerned about the money we are spending over there. The body bags and wheel chairs are not on his mind.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A cleric with links to Iran leads the candidate list of a powerful coalition of Iraq (news - web sites)'s mainstream Shiite Muslim groups for next month's election, an aide said Friday. The list also includes former Pentagon (news - web sites) favorite Ahmad Chalabi and some followers of radical cleric Muqtada al-Sadr.

I bet the Bushies are real excited about Chalabi and followers of Sadr running. Given the way things go for them, this new group will get elected, break off relations with the US and sell their oil exclusively to China.
