Mish,

Delphi's AHG is a "special" designation with a separate management team. It is a very nice way to say, "soon we will be selling or closing you".

I am not bullish on Delphi and certainly not on Visteon. I have much first hand knowledge of Visteon and if all things are equal with "suppliers*", then Visteon could not compete in many segments. Visteon has to count their blessings that Papa Ford has long-term agreements to provide them with major programs in a less than competitive capacity.

*The term "suppliers" is used loosely here. Visteon and Delphi are "suppliers", but much more. Still, they can suffer losses. Delphi wanted all the interior for the 900 program next year (biggest platform in North America), but GM only gave them part. Things are changing and cost pressure at the OEM does not allow for as many "gifts".
