About 6 years ago, I got a VIP tour of one of the boomers at the Bangor sub base. The MICHIGAN, I believe. I was amazed at some of the low level technology on that boat. I was chatting with one of the guys in the computer room, where it appeared they were running old 386 boxes. He told me that he'd been trying for over a year to get a new plotter to replace the one that had broken. Pretty interesting experience.

Well said OR. That is reality. And if the MSM wasn't so anti-war, anti-Bush & anti-American, they would report those facts widely so everyone can form reality based opinions on the issue.

Today on the Kimmer Show, he said Humvees were carried by armoured trucks, and weren't originally meant to drive through dangerous areas..similar to jeeps in their days.. A man called who said his father in law was in charge of making armour for the humvees, and said they were working around the clock 24/7 plus they had recently hired an additional 400 people to make the new armour for humvees.. All of a sudden the democrats are screaming for more armour when just a while ago, they were slashing the military budget with wild abandon..anything to make themselves look good, even if they don't have a clue what they are talking about.
