A bit of bad luck, sort of. I've been lucky for
the past few weeks making about 2k/week. Of
course, had I not sold Lynx, which had over
a buck a share left it in, I might be 10k
ahead rather than 6k. And then there was today...

Having made 20k dimes in Sequenom, and thinking
the chart was getting saggy...and maybe I could
just buy my shares a nickle cheaper...I sold.
I sold 21,000 shares, for nickles slots, well,
dimes. ding ding ding, so stupid. Or not, but
how do you know?

But mainly thinking I wanted to get some more of
the only other idea, glgc. Needless to say,
today would have been one of those elusive
$10k days had I just stayed off my PC for one
lousy day.

Remember 1999/2000, when ten thousand dollar
days were no big deal, ha! Oh well.

Anyway, I am just holding GeneLogic now, it
is awfully boring stockwise, but I have to say,
it seems to be a really decent company. Oh,
they need to make a profit, but at least they
have a business. Probably doesn't have the
ten bagger leverage you would look for in a
microcap biotech, but that is just based on
what is known. I suppose if you assume that
you know nothing (safe assumption with me) and
then just don't overpay, then maybe you can
make a few bucks.

This time, no daytrading. I would like to see
how things unfold for GeneLogic in the year ahead.

For my last biotech folder...
Something called "Toxexpress":

I think this probably comes from Therimmune, so we
cannot give glgc too much credit, but at least they
are a better company now for the acquisition.

and tonight's trivia...

Surfing around to see who subscribes to glgc's stuff,
I stumbled across a company called Five Prime. And look
who is there, ha, a name I know--remember her from
Gizzmo!. I have never heard of this company, but
it was fun to come across her again.
