Seems that they have found hundreds of ballots that they forgot to count the first time. And this with a 42 vote margin?

The hand recount was needed in this case, and allowed by law.

Won't try to argue that rejected ballots should be re-examined, except for errors in the rejection standard, which is allowed by current law.

Election reform...you betcha...we need it big time.

I doubt it. I know Dino Rossi, have played golf with him, and he is a classy guy. He would not be hanging on with his fingernails like Gregoire is.

State GOP chairman Chris Vance said he is warming to Munro's idea.

"Perhaps the only way we're going to settle this is to let the people of Washington vote again," he said.

Current Secretary of State Sam Reed, a Republican, said a revote is doable and may be worth considering.
