I know Mormons who aren't like this. They're conservative (not radical), monogamous and pretty much like everyone else. It's interesting. I also know plenty of conservative Republicans as well who, aside from the way they vote every few years and the occasionally noxious comment they make, are pretty much like everyone else also. As long as we avoid talking about politics and religion, we get along just fine. Odd. I wonder if we're splitting along really odd lines: fascists and religious radicals vs conservatives and progressives (now THAT would be strange :)). The conservatives and progressives would balance the budget, not get involved in idiotic wars and then fight about social and domestic issues. The fascists and religious radicals can go take a hike.
