I agree with your definition of falafel. We get falafel at Middle Eastern restaurants ourselves.

Anyway, I broke down and googled O'Reilly and falafel -- it has to do with something he told Andrea Mackris, the woman who sued him for sexual harassment, during a session where he talked dirty to her over the phone. She made tapes of the conversations and attached them to her court filing.

O'Reilly said he wanted to use a falafel on her for sexual purposes, which is pretty weird. O'Reilly is one strange dude.

I tried not to pay attention to those details at the time, but recently O'Reilly has been saying nasty things about bloggers and others who post about politics on the Internet, which rubs me the wrong way. He opined that "unfair freedom of speech" brought down Dan Rather, which is even weirder to me than using a falafel for sexual purposes.
