Yes scott,

Our public opinion will eventually tip over to the side of reason and morality as it finally did for the Vietnam war. And then years later, all will look back and say they were against it. <g,NG>

But how long will it take to tip over? How much more grief and destruction will it take? That's the question. The easiest way out is just that. Just leave and let them sort it out. Just like kicking over the proverbial anthill, bees nest, etc. a foreign entity can not put it back together again. The lives lost and grief caused can NEVER be replaced or repaired but getting out is cutting theirs and ours losses.

What we have done and will do to them and ourselves up to that stop loss point, and what comes after, of course too, will have to be repaid by massive guilt on those that support this tragedy. :(

And MAYBE a lesson learned, but I have massive doubts about that, given that I just used Vietnam as an example and that wasn't that long ago.
