Mr. Libshutz spent twenty-four years in the investment banking industry, where he served as Managing Director at Salomon Brothers in charge of the Energy Group from 1972 to 1988; as Managing Director in charge of the New Business Group in the Merger and Acquisitions Department of Merrill Lynch from 1988 to 1991; and as Senior Managing Director in charge of Energy and Project Finance Groups at Bear Stearns, Inc. from 1991 to 1995. Mr. Libshutz was also President of Sithe Asia Holdings in Hong Kong from 1995 to 1998. He received a B.S. degree from Cornell University; a J.D. degree from the University of Maryland Law School, where he served as Research Editor of The Law Review; and an M.B.A. degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
