Amy, you apparently missed the reason why I put the word "forced" in quotes. I have never backed away from my stance that children aren't forced to say "in God we Trust." Or "under God." Or even the entire Pledge of Allegiance.

I was just turning your definition of "forced" around. In other words, if you think children are "forced" to say "under God," then you obviously think children are also "forced" to read books like "Heather Has Two Mommies" in certain school districts. Or "forced" to watch condoms being put onto bananas. Or "forced" to listen to a leftist view of politics.

Now before you accuse me of supporting more censorship just to be "fair," let me state up front that my point is exactly the opposite. The less censorship, the better. I don't think any student is being "forced" to do anything. They don't have to recite the Pledge if they don't want to, just like they don't have to participate in sex ed if they don't want to (or their parents don't want them to).

But your assertion that students are being "forced" to say "in God we Trust" is ludicrous. Stop accusing me of intellectual dishonesty, and start looking at your own.
