Most of us would no more want a world run by the Religious Right than one dominated by liberalism.

But that's not an appropriate comparison, anyway. Consider the last election. There was no significant "religious right" influence, not in the sense of "The Moral Majority". Bush is fairly moderate, yet the Left ran the most extreme candidate they could find. The other guy, Howard Dean, is just as bad, and now wants to take control of the Democrat party.

Liberalism is a persistent destructive force, while religious conservatism is pretty harmless. But moderation from both sides is really the best alternative.

LOL. I'm what you'd call the religious right and believe me, I don't spend my time looking for people to tattle tale on. Instead, I spend most of my time working to provide for my family. Whatever anyone else does is their business as long as they don't break any laws.

The difference between your scenario and mine is that yours is far fetched. THe one I presented is happening right now in San Francisco.
