"Budrus, where this slogan was coined, is a small village of some 1,200 Palestinians in the northern part of West Bank, just across the Green Line. Few Israelis have ever heard of it; but some may remember neighboring Kibia, just a mile to the east, where, on Oct. 14, 1953, an Israeli army unit – led by a young officer called Ariel Sharon – ravaged the village (then still under Jordanian rule), destroying 40 houses and killing more than 50 people, an atrocity that caused international outrage and was strongly condemned by the UN Security Council."

It's interesting. The head of the PLO who allowed terrorist acts is reviled. The head of Israel, who actually took part in these acts is the Prime Minister.

Here in the US, when the massacre of Mai Lai came to light, prosecuted Lt Cally who led our troops on that charge. I hear some people saying they don't agree with Sharon but he is not as bad as Arafat.

Is that so??

Yep. There are too many so-called 'leaders' in the world today who relish the idea of unending (and very profitable) war. Since it's obvious they don't want peace (except on their own terms which isn't so much peace as winning), there won't be any.

Hey. Looks likes Chalabi is on the slate and could be elected to the Iraqi government while Allawi might not be? That's the way to deal with Iran.

Ridiculous and getting stranger still.
