The Associated Press reports that Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas apologized to Kuwaitis on Sunday for the Palestinians’ support of Saddam Hussein’s 1990 invasion of Kuwait:

Asked by reporters about Palestinian support for Saddam’s invasion, Abbas responded: “Yes, we apologize for what we have done.”

The high today will be 48. Yesterday, it was 54. Ground still warm enough to plant more spring bulbs, but everybody is pretty much sold out! Hard to predict stuff like that.

Similar situation for the flu vaccine. After all the freaking out and rationing, they have flu vaccine left over and will have to throw some away!

Same for fuel oil. We were fearing shortages, now have surplus.
