Quincy, as you say, the cost is the biggie. I forgot to mention the business case you mentioned. I have fondled a gorgeous Harrier cyberphone, telecom.co.nz which runs on 1xEV-DO and didn't buy it. If they can't sell it to me, CDMA sucker number 1, then there's a limited business case for it. Of course I won't save a second at any cost. The purchase has to give me a consumer surplus. Right now, it's the price, not the latency or data rate which is holding me back. Cut the cost, not the latency. Cut the cost, don't accelerate the speed [unless that enables a reduced price per bit]. Mq
