I'll say. It's easy to lose sight of fiscal responsibility when great problems face the nation. I hope they try to reign things in soon.

They lost their religion on reigning in spending when Gingrich and company went down on the "shutting down the government fight". Than later there was 9/11, recession, and other issues and now there seems to be almost no politicians of any national prominence who will vote for any strong restraint on overall spending. They may try to cut programs they don't like but at the same time they vote for big increases in spending on programs they do like. Tim
