Your home is certainly wired for the future. My home is a contemporary in which my router is located in my office, and my wife's study (utilizing two laptops two floors down and at the other end of the house) cannot be hard wired to the router. I have two desktops hardwired to the network, and we have three laptops wirelessly connected. We are not fortunate to have designed either the house or the electronic connections of the house. On the other hand, if you want to sit out by the pool, away from the house, with a laptop connected to the internet, you might consider the wireless router. nill
