<"A conservative government is an organized hypocrisy" --Benjamin Disraeli > It may be so, but on balance hypocrisy may be a lesser problem than organized ‘moral’ turpitude of masses. We need to see the comparisons. In contrast to conservative hypocrisy a 'liberal- left leaning government' is a chaotic sum total of diverse vested interests within an ideological rainbow coalition. It does help secure menacing egalitarianism within a society e.g. by aligning ‘guys marriages’ to straight marriages but at the expense of rare human urge to procreate. In long term it also kills incentive and innovation, it hampers both in short run too. You can see many a rainbow society implodes under its own weight. Cradle to grave social security make poverty a common goal, rushing to the bottom becomes a common desire. Harlem under liberal Mayors was one such example, Koch-Dinkins, Harlem was a disaster today under Gulliani-Bloomberg, the ghetto has turned around, the father liberal Clinton sits on 125th Ave and enjoys great benefits of a solid conservative led turn around. Traditionally rich nations like Germany and France are fragmenting under their own structural problems. Apples and oranges are never the same, equally holds good the fact that capacity of every human is different, liberalism stands for forced equality that negates basic concepts ( nature selected the best adapted varieties to survive and to reproduce, this process has come to be known as ''natural selection'')on which life has evolved so far. Apply liberalism to basic thesis of natural selection and life might have taken a different trajectory.
