The news on H5N1 continues to raise more red flags and as it spreads to more wild birds

the involvement of H9N2 increases as does the need for an H9N2 pandemic vaccine.

I'm still a little confused by media reports. Although the press release indicates CHIR will be making an H9N2 vaccine, recent media reports on CHIR and pandemic vaccines only mention H5N1

I assume that the media has it wrong (when they hear pandemic vaccine from WHO they assume its against H5N1), but I was looking for independent confirmation).

The WSN/33 in Korea looks more and more real

and it is associated with H9N2 (in addition to the H1N1 genes).
