Hi Amy The biggest pandemic today, AIDS has a long incubation time. Flu's are quick. Anything that is quick & lethal will have $$$$ thrown at it. Slow & lethal slips below the radar screen both on a personal level and collectively. If the incubation period is longer, and transmission easy, that could be a nightmare. A new flu with a six month incubation and 70% fatality could really clobber the global population since most people would be infected before the first ones dropped.
