Would you like to try to live on $11.40 an hr? Just think of how easily you could send your kids to college (to keep them out of Wally World) and what kind of home you could provide. Nope. If I couldn't earn more than that, I would entertain no illusions of sending kids to college. I wouldn't even entertain illusions of having kids. I would be finding some roommates with whom I could share expenses until such time as I could move up to a better job and a better life style.
